Dana Morris Baker, 52, of Linton, IN passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Morehead, NC. He was born in Linton, IN, on November 29, 1957 to Loren Ray and Ruby (Clayton) Baker. Dana married Holly D. (Anderson) on February 23, 2002.

Dana was employed with IMI Irving Materials Inc. in Sullivan as a concrete truck driver and was formerly employed with Abram and Hawkins in Linton. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He also enjoyed playing music as a bass guitar player with the group Tameless.

Survivors include his mother Ruby Baker of Emerald Isle, NC; wife, Holly Baker; three daughters, Loreesa Mae Baker, Rayahna Dana`e and Aubrey Danielle Webb all at home. He was also survived by one sister Lorna (Ray) Hinnant of Selma, NC and one nephew Clayton Harris of Raleigh, NC.

Dana was preceded in death by his father Loren Baker and one son Jeffery Alan Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 1:00 PM with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 12, and from 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Thursday, May 13, 2010
