Daniel Richard 'Pete' Dove, 61, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Linton. He was born on January 21, 1955 in Sullivan, Indiana to George Richard and Violet (Myers) Dove.

Pete was a veteran of the US Marines. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22 and Loyal Order of the Moose #1434. Pete worked hard as a laborer for many years. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include: his companion, Marla Bough of Linton; a sister, Carolyn S. Widdifield of Dubois, IN; a brother, Robert G. 'Bob' Miller of Midland; several nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Betty J. Crowder, Jacklyn Alumbaugh, Margaret Miller and Alice Hanson; brothers, Jessie Miller and Jackie Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Loyal Order of the Moose #1434 in Linton.
