Daniel R. Reddy, 57, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011, at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1953 in Waco, Texas to Thomas E. and Dorothy (Rees) Reddy.

Daniel was a veteran of the US Air Force and was employed as a Social Worker.

Survivors include his son, David Reddy of Indianapolis; his daughter, Shonda (Reddy) Houchins of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jazmine, Rhiya and Shyan. He was also survived by two sisters, Jolynn "Mickie" Cimino of Louisville, KY and Rhonda Reddy of Camby, IN; one brother, Thomas "Tommy" Reddy II of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews. Daniel is also survived by his best friend Robin (Reddy) VanHorn of Indianapolis.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

The family is following Daniel's wishes with cremation. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.
