Daniel Ryan Watson, 39, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on December 20, 1977 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Ronald L. and Geraldine 'Gerrie' (Williams) Watson.

Dan loved the outdoors, mushroom hunting and was a die-hard NASCAR fan. He loved the special moments he shared with his daughters and granddaughter. He also enjoyed his friends and family. Dan was employed with Larry Kinnett.

Survivors include: his parents, Ron and Gerrie Watson of Linton; two daughters, Danielle Watson and Jada Grider, both of Linton; granddaughter, Dalilah Robertson; one sister, Angie Ballard of Linton; nephews, A.J. Swaby, Kevin Ballard and Jesse Cox, all of Linton and his very special friends, Bubba Green, Travis Hale, Dave Dailey and David Liston.

Dan was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Wayne and Reba Williams and Alta Bough; brother, Timmy Watson and sister, Rhonda Watson.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 3 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Honoring Dan's wishes, cremation will follow. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
