Danny R. Brown, 73, of Switz City, Indiana, went to Heaven, with his family by his side, at his home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1951 in Marco, Indiana, to John Henry and Lois Jean (Hostetter) Brown. Danny married the love of his life, Eileen Karen (Potucek) Brown on October 14, 1972.

Danny was a member of the Marco Methodist Church, Union Ironworkers Local #439 and Ironworkers Local #22. He enjoyed horse-back riding, raising livestock, camping, boating and fishing. Danny loved his grandkids and spending time with family and friends.

Family left to cherish the memories of Danny include: his wife, Eileen Brown; two daughters, Angela (Christopher) Moody of Worthington and Kimberly Brown of Switz City; one son, Ross (Courtney) Brown of Tell City; his grandchildren, Trinity Brown, Dylan Moody, BrookLynn Brown, Peyton Brown and Jaxon Brown; one sister, Debra Wiggins of Bloomington; two brothers, Denny (Reenie) Brown of Boonville and Jerry (Susan) Brown of Marco.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lois Brown.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Lesli English officiating.

Graveside services for Danny will be on Thursday, June 27th at 11:00 AM at Marco Cemetery with Pastor Lesli English officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 17 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
