David E. Ballard, 71, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 22, 1947 in Linton to Kenneth E. and Rose M. (Clayton) Ballard.

David was a US Marine Corps., Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. David had worked in construction and as a painter before his retirement.

Survivors include one daughter, April (Andrew) Greenaway of Titusville, FL; two grandchildren and one brother, Mark Ballard.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no public viewing or services.
