David W. Denman, 51, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born November 18, 1959, to John Wayne and Evelyn J. (Rose) Denman. In August 19, 1977 he married Donetta Y. (Goodson-Weaver).

David was employed as a security guard and later opened and ran Denman's Jeet Kung Do Martial Arts as an instructor. He then felt the calling into the ministry as an Evangelist with the Church of God. He was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his mother Evelyn J. Denman of Lake Station, IN, his wife of 33 years, Donetta Y. Denman, one son, Johnny C. (Wendy) Weaver of Sumner, IL; daughter, Renee` Y. (Tim) Damron of Linton, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one sister Marcia L. (RC) Mc Daniel of FL.

David was preceded his father and one daughter Peggy Sue Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, with Rev. Wayne L. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
