David L. Pearson, Sr., 67, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Indiana. Born in Greene County, Indiana, on September 18, 1939, he was the son of Hershel and Ethel (Goben) Pearson. David was a farmer for thirty years before retiring in 2002.

Survivors include one son; David L. (Michele) Pearson, Jr. of Linton, Indiana, two grandsons; Jeremy and Justin Pearson and two sisters; Betty Cook of Bedford, Indiana and Pauline Deere of Cambria, Illinois. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2007, and from 9:00 AM Monday, March 19, 2007 until the hour of service. Funeral services will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana.
