Delores "Boots" (Archer) Booker Warth, 82, of Linton, passed away on Friday morning, May 20, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born in Oaktown, Indiana on May 22, 1933 to Wylie and Nellie Ruth (Bennett) Archer. Delores married Kenneth Booker and after his passing she married Charles Warth.
Delores was employed at NSWC Crane and then later with General Electric of Linton. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Linton Moose Lodge #1434. "Boots" enjoyed dancing, traveling with her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: one son: Timothy Booker of Lyons; two daughters, Penny (Terry) Smith of Linton and Deborah Craft of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren, Travis (Michelle) McKinney, Courtney (Jesse) Beel, J.D. (Phoenix) Booker, Alicia McGhee, Cortney and Alicia Booker, David and Michael McGee, Brandi and Dalton Booker; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy Joe Archer of Phillips, WI; step-grand daughter, Jennifer (Nick) Stewart; step-grandchildren, Emma Mifflin, Jailynn and Jaxson Stewart; good friends, Sally Jones, Virginia McKee, Lorene Frank, Judy Jerrells and Dani Russell; sister-in-law, Sue Ann Booker; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Marilyn) Booker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Delores was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Kenneth Booker and Charles Warth; one daughter, Sherry Lee Booker; one son, Mike Booker; one grandson, Quinton Booker; brothers, Harlan, Percy and John Lindy Archer; sisters, Jean Beaman, Nellie Meeks, Mary Lou Hardesty, Betty Ann Kirk, Martha Dawn, Violet Keller.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Harley Archer officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday May 24, 2016 and from 9:00 am until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will follow service in Fairview Cemetery.
