Dolores Routledge Riker, 73, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her family on Friday, October 30, 2015. She was born on July 31, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry Rutter and Doris (Fields) Routledge. Dolores became the loving wife of H. Eugene Riker on September 20, 1959.

Dolores was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Linton where she served as secretary, receptionist and a faithful Sunday School teacher. She was an art teacher and had authored several children's books.

Survivors include: her husband, Dr. H. Eugene Riker; daughter, Sheila (Phillip) Wasnidge of Jasonville; son, John (Stephanie) Riker of Linton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Angela) Borelly and sister, Julie (Matt) Bernhardt, both of Indianapolis.

Dolores was preceded in death by: her parents; infant daughter, Barbara Riker; one sister and one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Linton with Dr. Gene Parker and Pastor James Brown officiating. Dolores will be laid to rest in the Alfordsville Community Cemetery in Alfordsville, Indiana.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, November 2 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the church.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in memory of Dolores to the Calvary Youth Program. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
