Donetta Lou Cullison, 75, of Linton, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 with her loving family at her side. She was born on August 11, 1938 in Linton, Indiana to Duel and Lulavena (Weaver) Phelps. Donetta was married to Theodore J. 'Ted' Cullison on September 29, 1954.

She was a member of the 12th Street Church of God. She was homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading her Bible and various books, working in her flowers, shopping and more especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband, Ted Cullison; one son, Teddy Cullison of Linton; one daughter, Peggy (Jim) Miller of Linton; two granddaughters, Tanya (Mike) Garber of Carmel, IN and Rici (Bill) Oricks of Elwood, IN; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene (Debra) Phelps and one sister, Betrice (Floyd) Lents of Shoals, IN.

Donetta was preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter, Marcole McBeath; grandson, James Allan Miller and one great-granddaughter, Oakleigh Rae Oricks.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the 12th Street Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the 12th Street Church of God with Pastor Bob Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield, IN.

Family and friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
