Doris Faye McBride, 78, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on October 9, 1944, in Cassville, Missouri to William and Floye Faye (Scroggins) Fletcher. Doris married her husband, Edward F. McBride, on April 14, 2001.

Doris worked as a CPA and later as a hotel manager before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed taking care of her home and family.

Family left to cherish the memories of Doris include: her husband, Ed McBride; stepchildren, Edward McBride, Paula (Patrick) Butler and Michael (Diane Diehl) McBride; six grandchildren; two brothers, Alan Fletcher and Robert (Julie) Fletcher.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Billy, Shirley and Connie.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doris to the Alzheimer's Association. There will be no public services.
