Dorothy M. Hall, 93, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Sullivan, IN, on December 2, 1914, she was the daughter of John and Allie M. (Owens) Crynes. On March 19, 1939, she married Clarence O. Hall. Clarence preceded her in death December 18, 1979.

Dorothy was a waitress at the BPO Elks #866 of Linton. She retired in 1979.

Survivors include two daughters, Joetta 'Jo' K. (Gerald) O'Niones of Anderson, IN, and Barbara J. Flynn of Dugger, IN. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Lana Linehan, Lori Bivens, David Swan, Pamela Orr, Sue Tannehill and Lydia Flath, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Juanita Wedman of Anderson.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson, one granddaughter, five brothers: Harry, John, O'Dell, Wilbur and Dean; and three sisters: Pauline, Louise and Hazel.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2008, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Rev. Don Reed will officiate and interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
