Dorothy L. Maxwell, 68 of Indialantic, FL passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Mrs. Maxwell was born in North Manchester, IN where she attended and graduated from Chester High School Class of 1956. She went to Brevard Co. FL in 1964 from Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Melbourne. She enjoyed music and was a member of the Sweet Adeline's, played the organ and piano, was an avid bridge player with the Wednesday Bridge Group. She was a volunteer for the Hacienda Girl's Ranch, Melbourne Sharing Center and was a former Ladies Auxillary volunteer at Brevard Hospital, now Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Maxwell was very dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed by her son, Robert W. (Gina) Maxwell; daughters Edith Louise Maxwell, Delores Yvonne (John) Sauls and Barbara Kay Nelson; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and brothers, Max and Donald Ray Lefforge. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 4th, in the Brownlie Maxwell Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A second Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday December 7th, 2006 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
