Elaine 'Peg' Owen, 84, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society in Jasonville. She was born on March 30, 1937, in Linton, IN the daughter of Daniel and Pearl (Colbert) Ball.  She married Earl 'Frank' Owen on June 22, 1957.

Peg was a homemaker while being a very loving mother and grandmother. She attended Faith Community Church and enjoyed reading.

Family left to cherish the memory of Peg include: her son, Bryan Owen of Linton; grandchildren, Brittney (Jonathon) Rutan and Ryan (Dianna) Owen both of Linton; four great-grandchildren, Freya, Nolan, Tahlia, and Atticus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; son, Jackie Owen; seven brothers and six sisters.

Funeral Services for Peg will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday January 26, 2022, at Meng Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with David Ball officiating. Peg will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
