Elaine G. Reeves, 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Avon, Indiana. She was born in Linton, Indiana on October 13, 1930 to James Floyd & Jessie Grace (Richardson) Tincher. Elaine married Paul S. Reeves on April 16, 1969. Elaine was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. She worked as a dental assistant for William Croxton, DDS and William Witherspoon, DDS before retiring. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors include: her husband, Paul S. Reeves; one sister, Jean Lazzell of Terre Haute and several nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by: her parents; four brothers, Bruce, Floyd, William & Vannie Tincher and five sisters, June Tincher, Dene Alsop, Margaret Cravens, Mavis Dove & Grace Shelton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 21 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, Indiana with Stephen White, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 21.
