Evelyn J. Denman, 84, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Greene County, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Temple Terrace, FL. She was born in Knox County, Indiana on May 5, 1932 to Thomas A. and Goldie M. (Newkirk) Rose.

Evelyn worked at Bethlehem Steel in Burns Harbor, IN for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of God. She loved sewing, cooking, and reading her Bible. Evelyn was a devoted Christian who cared for her mother during the latter years of life.

Survivors include: her daughter, Marcia (Richard) McDaniel of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Kevin (Doye) McDaniel and Karen McDaniel and great-grandchildren, Kevin and Collin McDaniel.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Denman; sister, Janet E. Miller and brother, Melvin Rose.

A Graveside Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana with Pastor Eddie Carroll officiating.
