Forest F. Cleveland, 101, of Linton, IN, formerly of Lyons, IN, passed from this life Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Glenburn Home. She was born on June 16, 1906, in Sullivan County, IN, to Oliver Perry and Stella Rose (Begemann) Mounts. On December 29, 1925, Forest married Paul C. Cleveland.

Forest was a homemaker and a member of Indian Prairie Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Bud) Pittman of Linton, IN, six grandchildren: Byron Pittman of Sandborn, IN, Roxie Wertenberger of Benton, AR, Curtis Pittman and Gale Pittman, both of Switz City, IN, Douglas Cleveland, and Deborah Demello, nine (9) great grandchildren and seven (7) great, great grandchildren.

Forest was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Garvy Cleveland, five brothers: Elmo, Sam, Arvil, Arthur, Lester Mounts and two sisters: LaVina Hutcherson and Minnie Medley.

Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Interment to follow at Indian Prairie Cemetery.
