Frances 'Fran' Sue Holland, 71, of Odon, Indiana, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on December 3, 1943 in Washington, Indiana to Lee and Bess (Stringer) Corbin.

Fran was a Christian, devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She loved animals, talking to people and was an avid reader. Fran worked as a teacher's aide at Odon Elementary and Jasper Middle School before working at Kimball Electronics.

Survivors include: one son, Chris (Aileen) Maryfield of Dumfries, VA; two daughters, Julie Maryfield of Evansville and Karen (Ryan) Maryfield-Roach of Linton; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Mitchell, Collin, Allec, Acellyn, Taylor and Lauren; one great-granddaughter, Ezra and one sister, Nadine (Paul) McKee of Elnora.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Corbin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Elnora Christian Church with Archie Ellett and Richard Smith officiating. Fran will be laid to rest in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon at a later date.

Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in memory of Fran to Friends for Animals, PO Box 402, Washington, IN 47501. Envelopes will be available at the church.
