Frank Miller, Jr. 91, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on July 5, 1929 in Jasonville, Indiana to Frank and Dora (Lewis) Miller. Frank married the love of his life, Norma (McPhail) Miller on July 20, 1975.
Frank was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Linton BPO Elks #866. Frank retired in 1989 as a Quality Control Supervisor at Otis Elevator with several years of service. While family was always his priority, in his spare time, Frank loved to stay active by playing golf. You could also find him several times a week, drinking his morning coffee while catching up on the daily news with his buddies. He had a deep passion for history and anything car related. Frank loved his wife, Norma, and his family beyond measure. His love was simple and constant. He was always proud to be Norma's husband and talked about his grandkids and great-grandkids to anyone who would listen. He will be forever missed.
Family left to cherish the memories of Frank include: his daughter, Susan (Brad) Wright of Noblesville; grandchildren, Jen (Nathan) Doll of Westfield and Katie (Brian) Lauer of Fishers; great-grandchildren, Caroline and Hannah Doll; niece, Suzanne Lehr; cousins, David Lewis, Holly Wheaton, Brett Lewis and JoNell Lewis.
Frank was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Norma Miller and step-brother, Lewis Staker.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor David Tyra officiating. Frank will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
In compliance with state regulations, social distancing and face masks are required by all attending. Additional regulations are allowing only fifty (50) individuals in the funeral home at one time.
