Frankie Lee Cox, Jr., 60, Of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on November 10, 1956 in Linton to Frankie L. Cox and Dorris J. (White) Cox. He married his wife Carolin J. Cox on May 22, 2002.

Frankie was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Whosoever Will Church in Dugger, American Legion Post #22, where he served as Sargent of Arms, VFW Post #7118 and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1434. Frankie worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for 18 years.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolin J. Cox of Linton; his father, Frankie (Jeanne) Cox, Sr. of Linton; grandmother, Ruth D. Cox of Linton; sister, Kim (John) Holcomb of Linton; brother, Jeff (Sandy) Cox of Linton; step-son, Chattum (Carrie) Kendall of Sullivan; three step-grandchildren, Conner Jo (Carson Gaines) Kendall, Mason Lee Kendall, Dixie Lee Kendall; one great-grandson, Carter Gaines; nephews, Jeremy Nickle and Shawn (Bonnie) Helterbrand; niece, Kristen (Austin) Witt; two great-nephews and one great niece.

Frankie was preceded in death by his mother, Dorris J. (White) Cox.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Frankie will be laid to rest following full military honors by American Legion Post #22 and VFW Post #7118.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
