Gale G. Pittman, 58, of Lyons, Indiana, passed away, with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at his home. He was born on July 2, 1963, in Linton, Indiana to Elra E. 'Bud' and Sharon Lee (Cleveland) Pittman. Gale married the love of his life, Jeannette S. (Morris) Pittman on August 28, 1982.

Gale was of the Christian faith and was a member of the NRA. He worked as a coal miner, a railroader and was CDL licensed, driving school buses for WRV and North Knox Schools.

Family left to cherish the memory of Gale include, his wife, Jeannette Pittman of Lyons; one son, Sean Pittman of Lyons; two daughters, Erin (Jacob) Barkley of Worthington and Shannon (Dylan) Ladd of Lyons; sister, Roxie (Larry) Wertenberger of Benton, AR; two brothers, Byron L. 'Barney' Pittman of Jasonville and Curt (Terry) Pittman of Linton. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Gale was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Jeromy D. Pittman.

Funeral services to honor the life of Gale will be at 11:00 on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Terry Dowell officiating. Gale will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, at the funeral home.
