Mrs. Gene (Beavers) Marques, 76, of Switz City, formerly of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on June 2, 2013 at the Glenburn Nursing Home. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Garland and Mary (Blackburn) Beavers.

Gene is survived by: two sons, Ricardo A"RickA" L. (Sherry) Marques of Switz City, IN and Garland Marques of Texas; three grandchildren, Megan, Ricardo III and Destiny and one sister, Barbara Magnuson of Washington State.

The family followed her wishes of cremation and there was a memorial service held at the United Methodist Church at North Little Rock, Arkansas.
