62, of Linton, IN passed away 3:20 PM Sunday July 17th, 2005 in Terre Haute, IN. He was born in Wayne County, West Virginia, October 22, 1942 to William and Elsie (Watts) Smith and was raised by Henry Watts and Elsie. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton, IN and had work with LTV Steel in Hammond, IN as a machine operator.

He was survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie S. (Alexander). They had one daughter Cassandra (Levi) Duncan of Jasonville, IN. He is also survived by three sisters Ann Thomas of Linton, IN, Stella McCann of Trion, GA and Ommalee Smith of Vincennes, IN three brothers, Ira Smith of Jasonville, IN Roy Smith Griffith, IN and Richard Smith of Dugger, IN.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Pastor Dr. H. Eugene Riker will officiate the funeral service with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
