Geneva M. Sims, 89, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011, at the BridgePointe Health Campus in Vincennes. She was born on February 19, 1922, in Clay Co., IN to William and Esther (Fischer) Harden . On August 18, 1950 she married Sanford Dale Sims.

Geneva worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Greene County General Hospital for approximately ten years.

Survivors include two sons: Arland (Jackie) Boyd of Versailles, IN and Nick (Elaine) Sims of Vincennes, IN; and one brother: Brenton (Ann Carol) Harden of Center Point, IN.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Sims (2/20/1977); brothers, Joy Harden and Galen Harden of Clay City, IN; and sister, Lois Youngblood of Clay City.

The family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to the Gideons. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel, with Rev. Myron James officiating. Interment will follow at the Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.

Visitation hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2011.
