Genieve Rose Pieper, 90, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Timbers of Jasper facility. She was born in Peru, Indiana on February 3, 1923 to Dennis and Mary Alice (Kisman) Fisher. She married Vernon Pieper on October 29, 1972.

Genieve was a housewife and worked at Keller Aluminum until retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church and she loved the people there.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Pieper; her son, Michael Kintner and two daughters, Susan A. Reynolds and Sandy See.

Genieve leaves behind her son, Marty Kintner and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Kintner, residing in Peru, IN; a step-son Jim Pieper and daughter-in-law, Lois Pieper of Sandborn, IN ; a step-daughter and her husband, Carol and Loni Etmeier of Sandborn, IN and two other step-sons and their wives, Bill and Pam Pieper and Fred and Karen Pieper. She has also left behind many grandkids, great-grandkids and a few great-great grandbabies.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana with Pastor Paul Alvey officiating. Friends may call the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday.

The family requested that memorial contributions be made to the United Methodist Church of Sandborn.
