George E. Wautelet , 91, of Linton, Indiana passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006. George was born in Linton on September 23, 1915 to Edward and Susan (Baker) Wautelet. He married Beulah (Risher) (deceased) on June 25, 1938 and Dolores M. (Alderson) Sears on August 27,1988. George owned and operated South Main Standard Station in Linton for 37 years until retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Linton Assembly of God Church and in 1965 joined the Linton Civitan Club. George is survived by his wife Dolores M. Sears-Wautelet, two sons; Robert Risher of Linton, David Wautelet of Gilbert, AZ, two stepsons; Roger Sears of Linton and Brent (Renee`) Sears of Linton, daughter Sue (Dale) Goddard of Linton. Grandchildren: Bobby Risher, Pam Houston, Dawn Garcia, Dale & Casey Goddard. Step-grandchildren: Rod, Daniel and Aubrey Sears. George was preceded in death by his parents, first his 1st wife Beulah Wautelet, daughter Nancy Wautelet, two grandchildren; Jason Goddard and Crystal Wautelet, one great grandson Jefferson Risher and one sister Sylvia Heath. The visitation will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, Indiana on Monday, November 20th, 2006 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Calling hours will continue on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM, with the funeral service to be held at funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton. The Rev. Scott Visser and Rev. David Tyra will officiate the funeral services.
