Georgialee (Morris) McKim, 63, of Lyons, passed away on July 6, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born in Linton, IN, on February 18, 1951, to Richard G. and Betty J. (Bland) Morris.  July 14, 1990, she married Jerry Lee McKim, who survives.

Georgialee was the owner / operator of McKim's Dairy Queen in Linton and was a former Advertising Manager at the Linton Daily Citizen.  She was a member of the Bicknell BPO Elks #1421 and a Past Member of the Dairy Queen Operators Association.  Georgialee loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren, and working with 4-H.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lee; 2 sons: Troy (April) Jerrell of Lyons and Kevin (Summer Martin) Jerrell of Linton; a daughter, Amanda (Jerry) Gallagher of Lyons; 8 grandchildren: Kenny, Dreydon, Kade, Shanae, Kyra, Kerra, Olivia, and Trey; a sister, Jeannette (Gale) Pittman of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.

Georgialee was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rick Morris.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Family and friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.  An Elks Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service with Pastor Terry Dowell officiating.  Interment will take place after the funeral service at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

The family has entrusted all arrangements to the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
