Gertrude Justine (Trudy) Stremming of Martinsville, Indiana passed away in Indianapolis, IN on February 28, 2013.

Trudy was born in Freelandville, Indiana to Roscoe Fred "Rocky" and Irma Marie (Schultz) Telligman on February 1, 1927. The family soon moved to Westphalia, Indiana and she lived there most of her life.

She married Harley C. Stremming on March 17, 1950. He survives in Martinsville.

She was a homemaker and was active in her church and community. She was the mother of one son, H. Mark Stremming (Rhonda), who resides in Martinsville.

She is survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Brian Stremming (Angela, Joey and Maria) who reside in Martinsville, Sara Smith (Dustin, Ethan, Reagan and Kyleigh) who reside in Guam, Jessica Washington (Jay) who reside in Colorado and Bethany Litz (Kevin) who reside in Bloomington.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers (David, Kenneth and Roger Telligman), and her sister, June Zinn.

Her family was very dear to her. She loved and cherished all of them.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ Library. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Funeral services will be held at the Salem United Church of Christ in Westphalia on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2.
