Harold Dean Ervin, 76, of Lyons, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born on February 1, 1936, to Bert R. Ervin and Mabel A. (Hitt) Ervin. On February 1, 1969, Harold married Barbara C. Mortensen.

Harold worked as a self-employed auto mechanic until his retirement. Later years were spent working small engine repair.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; three sons, Paul, Bert R and Alan S. Ervin; two grand children, Tyler Steven and Kristoffer Ervin.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George

The Ervin family will hold a memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Linton, IN on Friday, September 21 at 11:00 AM.
