Harriett L. (Burns) (Martin) Lucas, 91, of Dugger, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 03, 2012. She was born in Vigo County, IN on April 3, 1921, to Joseph Louderback and Ella Mae Burns. Harriett married John Martin Jr. on October 4, 1941. Following John's death in 1980, she later met and married Stanley Lucas.

Harriett was a clerk with CBS in Terre Haute until her retirement in 1986.

Survivors include her son, John J. (Marsha) Martin of Carrabelle, FL;
two sisters, Betty Portemont of Phillipsburg, OH and Nancy Bennett of Brazil, IN; four grandchildren, Mark Martin, Mindy Martin Parkhurst, John Matthew Martin and Travis martin; six great-grandchildren also survive.

Harriett was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John; second husband, Stanley; two sisters, Margaret Girton and Joan Louderback.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the Calcutta Cemetery in Brazil, IN, at a later date.

The family has entrusted the Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in Dugger, IN, with these arrangements.
