Helen Margaruite Andis, 83, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on February 24, 2014 at Parkview Village in Odon. She was born in Knox County, Indiana on April 30, 1930 to Curtis and Osia (Rader) Lynn. Helen was united in marriage to Dwight Leon Andis on April 6, 1947.

Helen was a housewife, mother and was employed at the Keller Aluminum Linton Plant.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary (Lou Ann) Andis of Hillsdale and Sherman Andis of Mission, TX; one daughter, Terri (Johnny) Davidson of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren, Scott (Konni) Andis, Jewellyn Andis, Chad (Lisa) Booher, Chris Andis, JR (Chandra) Andis, Jessica Andis, Jason (Sharon) Davidson, Nicole (Jayson) Soliday and several great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Dwight Andis; three brothers, Granville (Gink) Lynn, Doug Lynn, and Robert (Bob) Lynn; and five sisters, Eulaliah Hoggett, Ruth Roberts, Dord Howard, Mary Hammack and Virginia (Toon) Skomp.

For those who wish, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in memory of Helen to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

The family has entrusted Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with these arrangements.
