Obituary

Jack L. Miller, 73, of Linton, Indiana went to be with The Lord on April 12 surrounded by his children at Carle Hospital in Champaign, IL. He was born on September 3, 1940 in Terre Haute, IN to Orval and Etta Faye (Hart) Miller.

Jack was a retired Coal Miner from Peabody-Hawthorn Coal Mine. He was a member and trustee of Friendship Baptist Church in Farmersburg, IN. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Jack Miller inspired others and loved so many with his testimony of his life by always being a hard worker and a man that loved his family and friends. He was a person that gave it all and did all he could for others. He was focused and determined to be a strong testimony of Christ's love. His passion was to be out riding his motorcycle and enjoying the day. He had ridden in all 50 states exploring the little towns and beauties all across this great nation.

Jack is survived by his wife Wanda Miller, whom he married September 2001. His three Children, Mike (Meridith) Miller, of Linton, Tim (Stacy-Blake) Miller of Terre Haute, Micki (Jeremy) Boberg of Bloomfield. Two Step-children, Rich (Roberta) McPhail, of Sullivan and Rhonda (Todd) Jackson of Sullivan. His Grandchildren, Cami Miller, David, Sarah, Amanda and Rachel Rooksberry, Sidney and Heyli Mattingly, Jennifer and Jordan Boberg and Landon Wardenburg. His step-grandchildren, Alex Jackson, Reed Jackson, Hannah McPhail, and Luke McPhail. His sister, Patty (Darrell) Creager of Mustang, OK and brother, Aaron Miller of Middleton, CA.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Lea Miller and his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17th at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Gary Fox officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 16th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

The family has entrusted the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with these arrangements.
