James Keith 'Jimmy' Allen, 23, of Lyons, IN, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in Lyons, IN. He was born on October 2, 1988, to Lori F. (Reed) and was raised by Lori and Gregg 'Dode' Mason. Jimmy married Ashley N. (Bailey) on February 11, 2011.

Jimmy worked at Dode's Pizza Cafe, ET Raceway and Burger King during high school and then on to be a Union Carpenter with Local #546, Vincennes, IN at Duke Energy Plant in Edwardport, IN. He was a member of the Shiloh Church of God in Odon, IN; Carpenters & Mill Rights Local #546, Vincennes, IN; he was a member of the 2007 graduating class at North Daviess High School where he participated in football, track and as a cheer lifter. He attended Linton schools through the 6th grade and then transferred to North Daviess.

Survivors include his wife: Ashley N. Allen of Lyons; his mother, Lori F. Mason of Linton; two daughters, Katelynn and Aubrey Allen at home; maternal grandmother, Mary Souders of Elnora; paternal grandmother, Minnie Allen of Paoli; five brothers, John (Jenny) Mason of Lyons, Tony Allen II, Douglas Allen, Brandon Allen, Jacob Allen, all of Milltown, IN; four sisters, Mindy (Joe) Marlow of Linton, Mollie (Derek) Girten of Lyons, Ashley Allen and LaShawna Allen, both of Milltown, IN.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his dad, Dode Mason and grandfathers, Rex Reed and Raymond Allen.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in memory of Jimmy.

The funeral service will be Thursday, January 12, 2012, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 12:30 PM with Pastor Steve Sims officiating. Burial will follow at the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
