Jamie R. Hutcherson, 42, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life at his residence on August 22, 2019.  He was born on March 8, 1977, in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of Carl 'Pick' and Vera M. (Wall) Hutcherson.

Jamie was a construction worker and a young man who loved his family and the outdoors. At the young age of 20, an accident left him injured and no longer able to enjoy his hunting and fishing expeditions. Jamie dearly loved Jasmine Cree and held a special place in his heart for his cousin, Tyler.  He was a special young man to many, especially his mother, and will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Family left behind to cherish Jamie's memory include: his mother, Vera Hutcherson of Linton; three brothers, Shawn (Lisa) Hutcherson of Spencer, Carl (Susan) Hutcherson, Jr. of Worthington, Terry Hill of Jasonville; and nieces, Emily Hutcherson, Halie Hutcherson, and Aimee and Krista Sims.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Carl 'Pick' Hutcherson.

There will be no formal funeral services as the family is following Jamie's wishes in cremation.
