Edna Jane Dickerson, 79, of Linton, IN, entered into eternal rest Sat., Feb. 28, 2015, at Meadows Manor North, in Terre Haute. She was born in Linton, IN, on Jan. 16, 1936, to William Dione and Edna Ellen (Baker) Harrell.  Jane became the wife of Landon T. (Tom) Dickerson on August 4, 1956.

Jane was a homemaker; she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include: a son, Michael (Suzanne) Dickerson of Sparta, TN; grandchildren: Sara Marie Farris, Landon T. Dickerson, Rebecca Young and Michael D. Dickerson; 14 grt-grandchildren; and 1 grt. grt-grandchild; a brother, Joe Harrell of Terre Haute, IN; and three sisters: Merry Barnett, Ann Tucker and Jean Cullison, all of Linton.

Jane was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, two brothers: David Harrell and Bill Harrell, and one sister, Betty Geatches.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tues., March 3. 2015, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Michael D. Dickerson, grandson, officiating. Jane will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Mon., March 2, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tues., March 3, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
