Jerry Anderson, 67, of Linton, IN, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013, at Greene County General Hospital. He was born on June 25, 1946 in Cherry Valley, AR, to Arlie J. and Mary L. (Lesley) Anderson. Jerry married Margie A. Carrico on November 22, 1969.

Jerry was a US Army Veteran and he had worked as a linesman with the IBEW 1393. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22, VFW Post #7118 and Loyal Order of the Moose. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his family very much. He will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones.

Survivors include: one son, Brenton Scott (LuAnne) Anderson; one daughter, Brittany Lynn Anderson; three grandchildren, Cory, Kyle and Kaitlyn; two brothers, Jim (Cindy) Anderson, Paul (Nancy) Anderson and three sisters, Audrey 'Terry' (Elisha) Enochs, Joyce Gentry and Arlene (Kevin) Theroff, all of Linton.

Jerry was preceded in death by: his wife, Margie A. Anderson on January 15, 2013; one son, Bradley K. Anderson and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Bro. Virgil Bland officiating.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013 and 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, November 8. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post #22.

The family has entrusted all funeral arrangements to Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN.
