Jessica L. Gambill, 26, of Dugger, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1982, in Greene County, Indiana, to Scott D. and Reva L. (Ellis) Gambill.

Jessica enjoyed watching movies and writing essays, poems and short stories. She also enjoyed just hanging out with her friends.

Survivors include her parents and paternal grandparents, Jack W. and Patricia (Duncan) Gambill of Jasonville. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Sherrie LaRue of Dugger.

Jessica was preceded in death her maternal grandparents, Robert and Cora (Ransford) Ellis and beloved aunt, Lynn Turner.

The family has requested memorial contributions to be made to Hamilton Center. Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2008 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday, September 27, 2008. A private funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel with Mark Messmer officiating.
