Jim Allen Fulford, 69, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with his loving family beside him, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on July 17, 1953 in Sullivan, Indiana to Robert E. 'Grumpy' and Norma Jean (Gambill) Fulford. Jim married the love of his life, Connie S. (Robertson) Fulford on October 16, 1971.
Jim was of the Baptist faith and worked in construction management with Duke Energy. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
Family left to cherish the memory of Jim include: his wife of 51 years, Connie Fulford; daughter, Bobbie Jo Kanen of Linton; sons, Jim (Jaime) Fulford of NC and Allen (Melissa) Fulford of Switz City; grandchildren, Taylor (Kara), Dane (Selena), Hannah, Brandon, Harlee and Carter; great-grandchildren, Warren, Brooks and one in the oven (it's a girl); his mother, Norma Fulford of Jasonville; brothers, Mike, Bobby and Wayne (Suzanne) Fulford; sisters, Karen Bell and Teana (Darrell) Miller. Also, several nieces and nephews survive.
Jim was preceded in death by: his father, Robert E. Fulford; son-in-law, David Kanen; sister, Julia Pittman, brother-in-law, Ed Bell; nephews, Troy Bell and Derek Fulford.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Jim will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Greene Co. Clothe-a-Child or Kanen's Kids Tree at the Pub.
