Johnnie Mack Etmeier, 63, of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1957 in Linton, Indiana to Max William and Betty Jo (Flynn) Etmeier.

Johnnie was a member of the Sandborn Baptist Church. He was a devoted caregiver to their mother and enjoyed attending Boot City Opera with his friend. Johnnie worked several years as a florist before starting his current job at KCRC. His hobbies were flowers and birds.

Family left to cherish the memory of Johnnie includes two brothers, Lonnie (Carol) Etmeier and Kevin (Glenda) Etmeier, both of Sandborn; three nephews, Justin (Alissa) Etmeier, Ben Etmeier and Jacob Etmeier; one niece, Brooke (Ben) Evans; two great nephews and two great nieces.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services to honor the life of Johnnie will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Sandborn Cemetery with Pastor Alvaro Nieves officiating.
