Joyce C. Landis, 63, of Linton, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on November 2, 1948 in Beulah, ND to Alex and Ida (Hausauer) Voegele. Joyce married William E. 'Bill' Landis on November 26, 1968.

Joyce was a homemaker and Safety Coordinator at Wal-Mart for 27 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post #22 Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.

Joyce is survived by her husband: William 'Bill' Landis of Linton; her mother: Ida Voegele of Beulah, ND; one son: Scott (Jenny) Landis of Linton; one grandson: Austin Landis; two sisters: Judy (Lloyd) Schnaidt of Dickinson, ND and Peggy Bundy and friend (Perry Wolf)of Center, ND.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father Alex Voegele.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 11:00 am at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Visitation hours will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 12, 2012 and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
