Obituary

June (Reagin) Clippinger, 90, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Fishers, Indiana. June was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 13, 1923 to Benjamin Franklin & Cloa Irene (Smith) Reagin. The family moved to Detroit, MI where she was raised. She married Malcom M. Clippinger on March 31, 1945.

June was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ in Linton and Women's Fellowship and was a former member of the Jolly Mother's Home Extension Club, Greene Co. General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Triad and Tri Kappa Sororities and was a graduate of Otterbein College. She was a homemaker and mother who was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed baking.

Survivors include: one son, Paul (Lita) Clippinger of Fishers, IN; one daughter, Mary K. (Fred) Shields of Linton, IN; two grandchildren, Levi (Tina) Shields and Grant Clippinger and three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brooklyn and Bradley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcom and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at the Saron United Church of Christ in Linton at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 with the Rev. Erica Roth officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends and family may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Tuesday, September 3 from 4 PM to 8 PM and at the church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Greene Co. General Hospital Foundation Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
