Karen S. Green, 48, of Linton, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at her residence. She was a life long resident of Linton, born on October 11, 1960, to Fieden Travis and Phoebe J. (Crowder) Sisk.

Karen worked at the Linton Super Wal-Mart in the bakery department for the past ten years.

Survivors include her special friend, David Goodman, a daughter Cathy (Paul) Nichols, two sons: Brandon (Renee') Chesterfield and Joshua Chesterfield all of Linton, six grandchildren, a brother Jack (Deb) Sisk of Linton, three sisters: Viuca Wilson of Spencer, Louise White of Marshfield, MO, and Sylvia (Joe) Stewart of Linton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Delroy and Ronald Sisk, and two sisters: Betty Lou Sisk and Juanita Trusty.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Mike Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
