Karolyn K. (Nierste) Jordan, 64, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Indianapolis and Sandborn, IN, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2007, in Fort Myers, FL. Born in Vincennes, IN, on September 27, 1942, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Katherine (Warner) Nierste. On October 28, 1961 she married Cornelius Jordan. Karolyn worked at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary as a beautician and cosmologist and later at the Merchants National Bank of Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was a member of the MorningStar Baptist Church in Fort Myers, FL, and the Order of Eastern Star in Edwardsport, IN.

Survivors include her husband, Cornelius Jordan, daughter, Denisa K. Jordan Wineinger of Poland, IN, and son, Brian F. Jordan of Gibsonburg, Ohio, two daughters: Sheila P. Jordan Jones of Plainfield, IN, and Cheryl L. Jordan Scott of Carmel, IN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two sisters: Darlene Hartsburg of Freelandville, IN, and Janine Pitcher of Odon, IN.

Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Mark A. Jordan.

Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2007, and the funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 10:30 AM at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Speedway with Pastor James Riddle officiating. Graveside services will held 1:00 PM CST Saturday, September 15, 2007, (Vincennes time) Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
