Katherine Kenney, 96, of Linton, passed away Saturday, May 19th, 2007, at Linton Nursing & Rehab Ctr. Born in Saline, MI., on September 15, 1910, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Minnie (Fuller) Schmid. In 1939, she married John Kenney, who passed away in 1964. Katherine was a homemaker.

Survivors include her by brother, Charles Schmid of Arcata, CA and two sisters, Clara Keene and Doris Towler both of Linton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, at St. Thomas Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
