Emma Katherine "Katie" McKinney, 77, of Lyons and formerly of Linton, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at the Lyons Health and Living Center in Lyons, IN. She was born July 29, 1929, in Greene County, Indiana, to Harvey and Madeliene (Dubois) Hodges.

Katie worked at RCA for 30 years and retired in 1986. She was a lifetime member of the Columbian Chapter #140 Order of Eastern Stars.

Survivors include a son, Billy T. (Jennifer) McKinney of Lyons, two daughters: Leah S. (Tom) Gamble of Jasonville and Emily K. Earle of Linton, six grandchildren: Travis McKinney, Courtney Beel, Phillip Cox, Melissa Duncan, Jacob Earle and Steven Earle, 13 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Oliver Cromwell Craft of Gosport.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Hodges.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2007. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
