Kathleen A. Lowe, 64, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Linton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on January 15, 1952 in Niles, Michigan to Gail and Joan (Alspaugh) McNitt.

Kathleen had an Associate's Degree in Business and had worked for 17 years as manager of Smoker's Host before her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed her cats, collecting carousel horses and was an avid reader. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include: her companion, Ralph Kirk of Linton; two sons, James Lowe of Fort Wayne, IN and Steven (Heather Eshelman) Lowe of Elwood, IN; one daughter, Kendra (Robert) Lasley of Fort Wayne, IN; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Brian (MJ) McNitt of East Lansing, MI, Terrence (Linda) McNitt of Niles, MI and Timothy (Amy) McNitt of Bellingham, WA.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents.

The family is honoring Kathleen's wishes and there will be no public viewing or services.
