Kevin S. Walton, 37, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born May 18, 1973, to J. Steve Walton and Catherine A. (Frederick) Cox in Linton, Indiana.

Kevin worked as a brick mason and laborer. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 741, Bloomington, IN.

Survivors include his father, J. Steve Walton; mother, Catherine A. Cox; daughters, Karlen (Laney) Walton, Kambren (Cookie) Walton both of Linton; sister, Stephanie (Bryce) Benefiel of Linton and his maternal grandmother, Helen M. (Blakely) Frederick of Linton.

The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
