Leah A. (Crabtree) Wade, 38 of Elnora, Indiana, stepped into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with her loved ones by her side on Monday, December 15, 2014. Leah was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on January 6, 1976 to Richard and Ruth (Bright) Crabtree. She married her loving husband, Kevin A. Wade on August 22, 1998.
Leah was a member of the Odon Christian Church where she worked full time in the Daycare. She enjoyed working with small children and always helped with VBS. Leah had a passion for music, playing the saxophone in the North Daviess High School Jazz and Marching Bands, the Purdue University Marching Band and the Odon Christian Church Big Band Praise Band.
Survivors include: her husband, Kevin Wade of Elnora; three sons, A.J., Aric and Austin, all at home; her parents, Richard and Ruth Crabtree of Odon; one brother, Brian (Kristin) Crabtree of Terre Haute; two sisters, Beth (Brad) Cooper of Paoli and Kelsey (Kaleb) Mumma of Odon; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Bailey of Odon and father-in-law, Jim (Patty) Wade of Springville.
Leah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Bright and her paternal grandparents, McKinley and Ann Crabtree.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Odon Christian Church Daycare in remembrance of Leah. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Funeral services will be held at the Odon Christian Church located at 208 S. Spring St. in Odon, Indiana on Friday, December 19 at 11:00 AM with her father, Richard Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call at the Odon Christian Church on Thursday, December 18 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 and on Friday, December 19 from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
