Lillian E. "Betty" Frields, 77, of Linton, Indiana, passed to eternal life, Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born on March 2, 1933 in Evansville, Indiana to Walter Carl and Estella Mae (Monroe) Stocky.

She was a retired receptionist and a member of the Elnora United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Rev. Robert "Bob" Frields and their children, Dusty Miller (Lynn), Rebecca Sluder, Mark Schulze (Debbie), Sherry McBride, Tim Frields, and Linda Summerlin (Tom); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, at 10:00 am at the Elnora United Methodist Church in Elnora, Indiana with the Reverend John Monroe officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elnora United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
